Then on the interior of the blades, a deadly poison capable of breaking down cells is secreted.

Matsumoto's soulslayer
Haineko's blade turns to ash, and with a flick of the hilt, she can cut anywhere the ash has landed on.
All the ash that surrounds her opponent(s) might as well be her sword.
With simple hand gestures and a thought she can control where the ash goes as well as make it take various forms.


There are similarities and differences. Needless to say it is fascinating.

Ok, this is what happened in chapter 415:

1. Flashback, Gin saw that three lackies are offering Aizen a glowing blob and Azien puts it in the Houyoku.

2. Gin gets the Houyoku and the Houyoku releases the 'glowing blob'.

3. Flashback, Gin saw that three lackies leaving a beaten Matsumoto. Implying that they took the glowing blob from her.

4. Gin gets slashed.

So.. Matsumoto did not get raped or beaten, something in her got extracted and inserted into the Houyoku. Gin was determined to get that back for her.

Aside from Aizen being stupidly immortal, was a pretty interesting chapter. I for one did not think Gin would betray Aizen, although I did notice some animosity between them (as I mentioned a couple weeks ago). All up, I think we're finally able to construct the story around Matsumoto and Gin (pretty much what Baaja said).

I have to say though, I loved the part when Gin explained to Aizen that he was a snake, was beautifully delivered just before he turned on Aizen.

Good news is, with Gin no longer in the picture, the only ones left are Aizen and Ichigo, surely it's time for these two to meet in single combat?

Although it will eventually get to that(Aizen vs Ichigo) i feel like Bleach needs more story/character building. I believe that it would be too early for the series to end.

Well the series is pretty much steering towards it's end/reboot, with the captain commander dead, all Espada defeated and Aizen v Ichigo coming close. Possible reboot might be time jump to the future, with SS reestablished after some plot threads are spun to end (Ichigo's and Ishida's dads, plans of the Vaizard, Gin/Matsumuto)

Hell, they can add anything if it makes Bleach good again. Though i doubt the series can be saved anymore.

I heard some rumblings that we'll be seeing what's behind the gates of hell that the bad plusses go to after they are purified. Don't forget we have the King of Soul Society and the Zero squad to look forward to as well.

I forgot that you were into Bleach XD

I was talking with Enix about Bleach a few months ago and during the conversation I remembered that despite how crappy and slow this arc is, there's still a lot to cover. I'm hoping the author of this manga is learning from this arc and won't make the next ones so horribly.
