Aizen is just ridiculous now, they've gone too far.
In other news, Ichigo vs. Ulquiorra is pretty cool, although watching it has made me remember how stupidly bad the ending is gonna be. Bleach used to be cool.

I think Naruto has maintained a reasonable standard for "believable" content.
Anyway it's more the way the ridiculous/stupid is presented in Bleach that is annoying than the actual content, Ichigo can't win any major fight unless he loses control to the inner hollow. Mostly because he's already reached the pinnacle of power he is able to attain. Most other series' don't have as well a defined "limit" meaning they can bust out a new level at any time and just say "yeah it was always there" (think SSJ3). Bleach on the other hand has Bankai as the pinnacle, Ichigo and the Vizard have one additional level in hollowification, but other than that there is nothing further. Which is why Bleach major fights are all carbon copy clones of each other. There seems to be a lack of overall character development.
At least with Naruto he learns some other uber awesome technique, or in One Piece, Luffy will develop some new kind of power/technique. Ichigo has had nothing but Getsuga Tenshou since he first learned Shikai. I love the series, but they need to breathe some new life into it soon.

I really got disappointed.
They should put some new techniques and stuff in it. It's really odd this way.

You pretty much summed it all up. I love Bleach too and it's a shame to let the story go to trash. i really hope they'll do something with this.

The soul society arc was the best, at that point there was no limit to what kind of power they could achieve. I think it was hollowification that ruined the series. Instead of Zangetsu living in Ichigo's inner world and teaching him new abilities/powers, he got taken over by the hollow who has since pretty much dominated every subsequent fight.
There's also the fact that Ichigo kapow'd everybody he met in soul society, which pretty much meant for the entirety of the series, the Captains and such that he fought could never be taken seriously. Zaraki, Byakuya? All weak with no real way to explain them getting stronger. Shikamaru learns new shadow manipulating techniques, Krillin learns destructo disk, Zorro learns how to cut steel, Zaraki? He uses his sword with two hands................

You know, i was thinking the other day...
What if Tite Kubo is some undiscovered genius mangaka and he has the whole Bleach story set up so that everything fits, every character is well defined and every question is answered at the end? Wouldn't that be cool? :|
As for the chapter, yeah, it was kind of lame. The whole Bio-Aizen thing is lame, Gin is lame... everything is lame in Bleach now. :|

This chapter rocked, Gin saying it like it is. Since the soul society arc, Ichigo has been a little ***** and I'm glad someone is noticing it and putting him in his place. GO GIN!

Yeah, have to agree Prozac, about time somebody from the manga realised how far Ichigo has fallen from the realm of badassery.
Isshin's GT was awesome, but when are we going to see some Bankais? They better not end this fight without showing that much.
