Hahaha, glad I'm not the only one who was like "OMGWTF HE OPENED AN EYE!!!"

Otherwise yeah, so far he's been pretty unimpressive. Of note however is Matsumoto had a few pages dedicated to her at the start of the chapter, if this fight is going to be anything like the fight with Tousen, she'll have a much larger role in fighting Gin than we think. (Fox captain guy and tattoo'd 69 guy were integral in Tousen's death).
