It seems to me that Masaki died because of Ichigo's hollow but we'll see.

I like the fact that the hollow will be back in a way. The new zanpaktou should be something combining Zangetsu and the hollow(Since so far he had to upgrade his powers by hollowfication).
So we can expect to see a new sword design and possibly new skills.

Yeh they could become one, but these guys mainly seem to know about Zanpaktous only; would they really know how to combine the two? Interesting theory though.

Interesting theory yeah but i forgot to add the Quincy blood in the equation. So it's back to the darwing board i guess. Since Ichigo is every ******* type of being in this universe.

awesome zangetsu wasnt zangetsu at all it was yuwa bach(ywach) and ichigo still dont know his blade actuall soul!!

Well they stated that his zanpaktou IS the hollow, which fused with his shinigami powers(this is where it gets a little tricky).That Juuha Bach thing is kind of creepy but since all quincy's emerged from his blood/power it's understandable.
What surprises me is what the Zanpaktou creator dude said about the asauchis. Don't know if i understood well but those things are made from shinigami souls which result in a hollow like creature? Which then is fused with the shinigami in the process of zanpaktou creation? Jesus ****!

Epic reveal is epic. Kubo has my attention again. I love that Old Man Zangetsu has been Juha Bach all this time.

We just have to see if that thing is evil or it just represents/is the image of his quincy power.
I sense a battle with inner Juuha Bach.

Didn't Isshin Kurosaki used Getsuga Tenshou once? Whatever happened to him having Zangetsu? >.O

Isshin's zanpaktou is Engetsu. Ichigo's supposed zanpaktou is Zangetsu.

I know, but there was a time when Isshin pulled off a Getsuga Tenshou ._.

maybe their zanpakuto ghosts are trully called engetsu and zangetsu just on ichigo there was jwach as ghost wich means ichigo could not know his actual zanpakuto ghost

From what I understand, if there were a Zangetsu, it was destroyed when Aizen's hollows entered Ichigo. (probably at birth)
Or, upon entering a shinigami's body, his zanpakuto becomes hollowfied as well and the hollow really is Zangetsu.

No, there was never a Zangetsu, it was always Aizen's weaponized soul, White. Juha Bach has been manipulating Ichigo all this time, he never knew the name of his zanpakto, he forced his bankai out by will alone. He's been just as disharmonized with his sword as Zaraki Kenpachi is all this time.

Its not that his hollow was Zangetsu, its that Zangetsu was always a fraud, and White was always the source of his power.
