Is it just me or does it feel like the pacing is way off? I don't mind the content and the story that's unfolding, but it just feels like we've jumped from these Fullbring guys finding Ichigo, some training and now the final battle is upon us.

Maybe I'm just not used to Bleach getting to the point so quickly...

Doesn't Bleach always get to the point quickly? I can hardly be considered up-to-date on it, but he mastered Bankai in 3 days, and they hardly showed anything from his training.

I am still at the Arrancar arc so I'll be out of here.

I'm still It's an in-between-kinda thing, not a full blown story. I'm nearly expecting him to wake up from a silly dream.

That's because there are so many things that we don't know in Bleach. And it looks like Kubo doesn't like to share too much with us. We need clarifications fast because Bleach is going down like a hammer in a lake. :)
So the fast/rushed pace could be the result of this.

Well then isn't that the wrong way of doing things. Shouldn't he have slowed the pace down and bring a focus on other main characters instead of rushing Ichigo into becoming a main OP guy again? I mean this seems way too fast paced even for bleach but if i am right i expect an obvious plot twist which will drag this into a repeat of the arrancar vs 13 squads battle.

Well i hope you are wrong. :)
But who knows....Bleach had the potential of being a great manga/anime(maybe it still has a little) it's a shame.
The only thing i wait for is some weird, good, plot twist that would make the series entertaining again. Giving the current story....kinda hard.

Time flows differently in a series and in reality. While he achieved Bankai in 3 days series time, it was stretched and dragged a reasonable amount that it felt natural the way it progressed. With the Aizen fight and that final battle sequence. You had battles split between Karakura and Hueco Mundo. And finally when all the smaller battles were over, Aizen went up against practically everybody (which took a long time) destroying everything before Ichigo FINALLY caught to him ready to fight. Ironically, that battle was about 1-2 chapters (despite the enormous lead up)?

The pacing in this recent arc has been...erratic. He's had 3 years of no spiritual power. Then this tiny lead up with the special powers people, some basic training to get his powers back then...BAM FINAL BOSS FIGHT!

It might just be me, but it doesn't feel steady or consistent, but jagged and quite erratic.

Nope, i can't argue on that. Bleach is going downhill with no brakes. :D

I actually like this Saga of Bleach. It has turned out completely different then I expected.

The last chapter is rather confusing, but the ending brought me back to why I loved Bleach in the first place.

True. One weird thing after another.

I've always hated Ichigo's shikai for being too damn large and now it's even bigger.
But i agree that it's a little cool. He's both a fullbringer and a shinigami so that makes him a ... fullgami? shini/death bringer? lol :D

Edit: On the other hand... Rukia is back.

Death & Strawberry 2! Made me weep a little when I saw the title. The first chapter had that name. And he got his powers from Rukia then as well. And that was 10 years ago. So Rukia + Ichigo Shinigami powers + the title + the anniversary = awesome.

So, basically there's no power that Ichigo can't obtain??... first Shinigami, he obtain it, then Hollow, he obtain it, now Fullbring... what's next? he becomes a Quincy too!?

I'm just waiting for the explanations since this arc so far makes little sense. The sudden twists haven't really impressed me, though i must say Kubo nailed the "cool" factor on the last page, however i'm going to wait for an explanation as to how/what/where/when/why?

In Bleach, we've always waited for explanations. Most of the times they don't come so i'm not getting my hopes up.

A little thread bump here. Don't know how many of you guys still follow the manga.
This week's chapter was somehow interesting and the "truth" will hopefully be uncovered soon. Any ideas how Ichigo's new bankai will look like?

Anyone who didn't see some sort of betrayal or untruth to Urahara wasn't paying attention to the man who casually bested Aizen after a hundred years of careful planning.

Indeed. And that dude's bankai looks more and more like a hollow, with all those bones.
But i'm still waiting to see Ishin's story.
