Big help with cs update please

ok when i have downloaded the update for counter-strike retail
and when i whold to instal it in the c:\programefiles\counter-strike\
it says you must instal it in the same directory where cs is installed
I have doing everiting but it not works please can somewone help me???

I now i have installid cs in c:\programefils\counter-strike\ but it not works?

no that wont work

exactly where is your CS Retail folder,it could be c:\Sierra\Counter-Strike

If so,you'll need to change it by choosing browse,and choose the correct folder

Or can somewone set the files on internet than can i download it

if u installed the update to c:\programefils\counter-strike\ then the files from the update are in that directory

I can't install it it says you must install it in the dircetory where cs is installed and my cs is installed in c: \Sierra\Counter-Strike
and when i give that directory it says you must install it in the dircetory where cs is installed please can somewone send me the files or where can idownload the files

looks like your registry sortof got messed up,best bet is to reinstall CS,just make sure you remember your CDKey

And us sending the files to you would most likely yield the same error :/

i have doing all i have reinstalled cs 8 times!!
but its still not working
