Best Trilogy

The original Star Wars trilogy sold millions for a reason, it had depth and the characters are classic. Neo, Darth Maul, Aragorn, and Indiana Jones vs Darth Vadar would be a short fight with the almighty Vader laughing at the end. What do you think is the best trilogy?

i;d have to say lord of the rings.. im a sap for those magical stories with wizards and swordsmen... matrix triology, i was sort of disappointed.. some of the things said in part 3 contradicted some in part 1

I don't even understand how you can have LOTR or the new Star Wars Trilogies up there. They aren't out yet. Yeah I know that there are books for them, but seriously people, how can you say that a trilogy is the best when you haven't seen all of the movies? How do you know that Episode III isn't going to suck balls, or be awesome. Impossible. But anyways, regaurdless of what anyone says...its Old School Star Wars...the induction of a completely different universe to people. Look at what the star wars community has become today. Only a trilogy of epic proportions could inspire something so great...honestly, do any of the other movie trilogies have such a devoted fan base?

I go for... Terminator. The second one is the greatest action movie ever made \o/
