We pay for 40mb of bandwith, I've done some speedtest.nets and when my family is connected we usually get 10-20mbs through cable and wireless, however whenever my brother connects the bandwith goes to 0.3mb download and 0.5upload speed max. He isn't downloading anything but he always seems to get all the bandwith somehow, does anyone know what the problem could be?
We have an optic fibre cable running into ethernet which goes to a modemn, we have 4cables running out into 3pcs, 1xbox 360.
2laptops and 3 phones run off the wireless occassionly.
If I pull my brothers cable out it all speeds up but slows down when its back in.
Does anyone know what the problem could be?

Please close or remove this thread, I solved the problem. He had changed the router settings so he was the Primary DNS (or something along those lines). It basically priotised his connection. I reset it to default, put a new password on, so it'll be fine now.
