Can any of you do it? Are any of you hardcore fans about breakdancing? What are your views on it? Personally i love it, and have started to learn with some friends. I loved it in all the music videos, like "3, Thats The Magic Number" and of course in Run DMC vs Jason Nevis "Thats The Way It Is" but couldn't do anything. I learnt how to do all the walking steps like sidewalking and moonwalking :] but couldn't do any of those wild spins flares, windmills, you name it, i couldnt do them. But now ive started to learn how to do them. What about you guys?

I have absolutely no idea what B-boying is. Although from your post I can infer what it might be and I can pretty much say, no, I cannot "B-boy"

I think its break dancing... where you spin on your head and twirl your legs around while pushing up on your hands (that's at least one technique to doing it)... you've had to see it somewhere. I think its a nice thing to know for personal fun, but some of the moves require some serious muscle.

a beginner should first learn the 6 step - shouldnt be too hard with enough upper body strength.
i had interest in it some time ago, but it wore off. it takes a lot of time and dedication to get good

When I first read this post I thought it was going to be "G@Y" literally heh. After reading it I just find it stupid and and waste of time.

p.s. Reason I'm posting a bit more is because I'm bored and on my 2 week vacation I get from work WITH pay hehe. Enjoy me around for the next 2 weeks.

It is a cool thing to watch people do and I also enjoy dancing myself. I just don't know about rolling all over the floor.

Phobius must have been thinking BeBoy (not to be confused with BoysBe which is some kind of shounen-action manga) ;P I've wanted to do it, but it's just nopt worth the effort and has no practical use even at a club or something :p

Of course it has practical use, better endurance, strength, and if you can do the flips n stuff, then better agility O_O, besides, loads of girls in birmingham, UK love guys that can breakdance....trust me....i know.... :] :laff:, loads of people (mainly girls and couples) go to selfridges in the Bull Ring to watch the breakdancers do their stuff

breakdancing requires too much agility, and for one to be short/thin in build. i on the other hand have massive shoulders and arms, so no i don't do the b boy
why b boying anyway??? what a dumb name

Now the real question is if anyone can do the flare. Flare is a pammel horse gymnastics move that became part of break dancing and takes an insane amount of arm strength, coordination, and concentration.

I saw a breakdancer miss a flip and bust his face on the particle board he was failing on. I laughed, and he started to cuss me out through an extremely bloody nose, so he sounded all nasaly and blubbery, so I laughed even harder.

I guess breakdancing is ok, but the robot pwns all over it.
