Not sure if this is Kosher to talk about, but wth I guess I might as well try. So I'm trying to get the right TCP listen port, but a) I don't know what that means and b) I keep getting a message when I test the port that it times out.

Actual message:
NAT Error - Connect attempt to 74.79.175.217:51232 (your computer) timed out after 20 seconds. This means your port is probably closed.

I've checked my internet settings and I don't know how to open this port they speak of. I tried changing the TCP listen port number but no dice.

It doesn't seem to be affecting my downloads that much, but I feel like it is slowing it down since one download has 17 seeds and it's only going 2-10 kB/s.

(I assume you are behind a router)

You have to forward that port in your router. Read the manual if you need help, but it shouldn't be too hard.
a god port range is 49550-65000 or something (doesn't really matter).
You could also try to use upnp, if your router supports it.

Yea, I actually just put in a random number and it worked.
