So, this great game called Audiosurf was released on Steam friday. Who here's got it?

What is audiosurf?

Audiosurf is a music-adapting puzzle racer where you use your own music to create your own experience. The shape, the speed, and the mood of each ride is determined by the song you choose. You earn points for clustering together blocks of the same color on the highway, and compete with others on the internet for the high score on your favorite songs.

I tried the demo out. I thought what little puzzle element it had was not fun, and the music didn't really affect the game too much for me to actually care.

Ultimately, it's a cool concept, but from what playing time the demo gave me, I came away unimpressed.

I've been playing the demo for the past few days; it's an alright game. Not really something one can get addicted to in my opinion, though it's pretty challenging when you throw in some Dragonforce or other fast-paced bands/artists/songs.

eh, played the demo and i know what they have in mind. the game seems to be more oriented to people like me. i love listening to music but i always need to do something while i listen too it. i think thats what its more geared towards.
