its a fine idea. its not like you see generic ball/beam attacks owning 6 people at a time. and burning attack sucks, so does finishing buster....what the hell that attack is so useless...

you out a suggestion, not everyone will agree with you. You know in your head that its not right to have inf anything,u just want it to have inf ammo of something. i garantee you that she wont have inf ki for anything, she will be just another model to play as with evenly balanced damage attacks.

Another thing.. Android #18 will be in 1.3, that much we know. I've got a suggestion about a few perks she should have.. Seeing as androids never really run out of ki, (probably because they don't have "ki") why not make her standard attacks, generic beams/balls and ki balls free to fire? I don't mean she should fire big attacks without losing ki, but just the two standard attacks which everyone has.

I suggest that A-18 should slowlly(very slowlly)
auto-recharge her ki.One thing that could be cool to respect the no-ki thing would be that she couldn't be detected on the scouter except in the player mode

hmm an auto recharge wouldnt be a bad idea...

but they are all right too infinit ki on anything means heaven for beamspammers and hell for everybody else that has to go up against a skilled player with infinite ki

the burning attack i think should be kinda like the one on dbz budokai 2 (thats the only one ive actually played) it should be reasonably strong and just a blast from what i remember ive never actually seen trunks use a beam

i actually like infinite ki for generic beams and ki blasts. those things dont even do that much damage. ppl might pick 18 so they can shoot ki blasts all the time (which wont probably kill you). but do you think you'll be in a server of all androids 18s? of course not! heres why

new transformations. ppl might be picking goku to go ssj3!

easy ways to dodge ki blasts and generic beams. its so freakin easy. ki blasts barely hit since they curve so much. all you have to do is swoop around and tele hit, or powerstruggle with any other beam besides a generic beam and win.

i would play 18 for:
buddy system
infin ki

if theres no infin ki for those two attacks the only reason i'd play her would be to see the buddy system, then i'd start playing goku again because i wanna go ssj3 and wipe out the entire map dammit! hehe

this would make the androids unique, and not just some extra player with no attacks (besides the buddy system) it would make people WANT to play her

Gen beams and ki blasts dont do that much damage? Perhaps you have yet to fight the right people. Infinite ki is an extremely bad idea. People like myself would choose her just to be able to use melee indefinitely.

ki blasts do about 5 damage and generics do about 15 thatll add up pretty quick, all you have to do is knock them down and rain the ki blasts without worrying about powering up afterwards if infinite ki were put in you would see alot of this

It's the idea that if you have infinite ki for those attacks, you can sit there and spam them all you like. 1v1 that's a huge advantage. Why?

Fight starts off, I charge a genball, hit you, tele. You swoop/tele after me. Fighting ensues. Right off the bat I have more ki than you do so I have more mobility.

or

If Ki blasts are changed. If they go in a straighter line, only faster this time they would be serious attacks vs a downed opponent. Down them via a throw (since you don't need to recharge your ki to fire the blasts) and you can instantly start attacking again without much fear as they are most likely low on Ki too.

If you can't block ki blasts or bounce off the ground then you need to read the manual. Besides, who can't dodge ki balls? These are spammable, much like every single thing in the game. And another thing, if we say, you need to have at least 25% Ki left to fire them for free then? Another thing for you, (yes again) if you fire a gen ball you have to switch back to melee again if you want a swift attack. This is only usable by PROS and pros already own you with any other char. And as I wrote, you don't get downed by a throw unless you're completely out of ki and you actually USE the damn left mouse button (don't do that, it drains your ki and if he's not low on ki he WILL throw you) you deserve to get hit =P However, holding space will save you EACH and every time, giving you the edge if he's got ki ball, even if he doesn't lose ki by doing it.

Pro's have never really been my concern.

They're of superior skill and as such will win anyway, regardless of class.
My main concern are the "nubs" that are playing. The game isn't as much competition and timing as it is enjoyment, and to me giving 18 free ki attacks would be an un-enjoyable experience as some may not know how to counter or it just may be outright boring for them.


I believe she could opperate at a severely reduced Ki price, but inf seems a bit much.

I still say ANdroid 18 should have 3 attacks.

Power Blitz - a projectile attack as strong as Big Bang...or at LEAST SBC

Destructo Disk - Kinda useless, but some people like the disks.

Energy Field - Its like gohan's shield, only you charge it up, then when you release the fire button, a shield opens up around you and can hurt and knock away anyone that touches it and it works like a normal shield...only it lasts for only a second or two.










basically her Budokai moves.

Infinite ki in any situation in a game is not meant for normal gameplay. That's why cheat codes exist, which ESF doesn't have. It would be best to keep her normal and ki balanced with the rest of the characters.

I was watching the trunks saga recently, whatever it's called... the lead up to cell games. The androids didn't use up ki (or energy since they don't have ki), but they certainly got worn down. No. 16 and 17 couldn't do much of anything once they got beat up bad enough. You could have there max PL tied to LF. The way I imagine it could be, attacks bring down Ki as normal, but after releasing Ki is instantly replenished to current Ki max*LF % left.

This would require some balancing, but it could make a very interesting character. Then again, I'm a No 18 fan to begin with, so I play as her anyway.

Well that's a nice thought but It still gives her unlimited teliports and swoops...
So thats kinda a no no.
I was thinking more. To fit with ESF. If she had unlimited Ki for attacks and the 3 attacks Logan289 suggested.
And Uh... Not Unlimited Ki for flying and teliporting.
