first of all i would like to say hi to everyone i have been off for a while ......... and get to the point I CAN'T RUN ESF ANY MORE well i can but on in software mode but the graphics are crap and as soon as i use melee or spirit bomb it shutsdown the game and it is slow. I just got quake off my freind adn it had OPENGL on it so i installed it and it installed new ATI drivers for my ATI rage pro graphics card then i loaded up the game and selected opengl in the video options and it closed it self down so then i tryed it in hardware but soon after i select my map it closes it self down. i want my old drivers back. it worked before and i was loving it but ithought the new drivers would make it better but now it does'nt even load at all does any one know an answer for thsi or how i can restore previous drivers because i think that it is to do with the graphic drivers. :cry: :cry:

Try playing in Direct3D, btw, i had the same problem with melee and spirit bomb. that was (with me)
because 1. not enough RAM
2. wrong mode (openGL ...)
3. there's no °3 ;D
but try playing on a higher resolution, that might help. BUT you have a 3Dcard so i'd suggest Direct3D.

i have been using direct 3d i just accidently called it hardware. in opengl and direct3D i it just closes it self down, any other ideas i will try playing it at a higher resolution and see if that works any ways got my sig working again hosting from my dbz site
