Anybody else notice mod community hostility?

THIS IS NOT AN ATTACK ON DMZ THIS IS AN EXPERIENCE I HAD ON THE FORUM.

the other day i was on the dmz forum, and there was a thread about greece banning some games or somethin and everybody was outraged and i said oh no now they'll all have to get lives, and then 2 guys started flamin me and it went on and on for a while, there was alot to it, i guess im guilty of making fun of some of them cause they told me how weak minded i am for chasing girls and stuff, i dunno, but has anybody else notice how hostile some people on forums are? i mean it doesnt really make sense, i guess its mostly dorks who would get beat up if they trash talked in person, so they do it on forums, but i dunno maybe im wrong, anybody have any ideas as to why so many forum goers are ass-heads?
