Well ive been wondering if the new telport after image could eb used for anything else and then somthing acoured (sp?) to me...

well how about when you swoop at some1 once u have past a certan distance u can press the teliport button this will instantly stop you but leave your image after image travaling along the same path then when the block and go to attack u will be just behind it and go in for a swoop jsut like they do in the series...

i dont think it would eb impossible to do and 1/2 the work is already done with the after image models/sprites so tell em wat u think?

lol after reading it i dont realy understand what i said either :laff:

newhoo let me try to explane...

You start a swoop at some1 and have them targeted after u get lets say 1/2 way u can press the teliport button now at this time it will do 2 things:

1) stop your character
2) creat a duplicate of your character which continues on your path

lets asume u then swoop at him again in this case... now hes blockign the image and then lets go of block to hit it... but their is nothing their but your image it fades and u kick him to the ground with your real attack...

just like in the series... a good example is in the cell games saga when gohan is toying with cell

well i hope that clears it up?

the only problem is how to code it,since it is supposed to copy the path, and then fade, which means a bunch of operations to put in and make sure it outputs correctly

But I like the idea though, adds more strategy to it

mabey not... if the after image from the teleport in 1.2 dosnt lagg then this will not lagg... chances are they have made the after image some form of sprite or less demading modle so with a bit of tweaking this could work and not lagg

It's a sprite I think, because it's semi-transparent, and models don't look like that when they're transparent.

just al little question:
can you make telport after image from models that the esf team not made?
isn't that called custom models?

No, that wouldn't make any sense, after images don't move, they stay where you just were for a quick instant and then fade. Also, i hate when people automatically accuse every new idea of lag, when they haven't the faintest clue whether it's true or not.

after images do move... in the freiza saga when he is trying to kill goku with the disk attack he finaly hits him but then the image of goku fades and freiza sais "Ah an after image" so after images do move but all im saying is that they continue on your path till they hit somthing then they fade...

another one is when goku is swooping towards cell in the cell games,he swoops slowly and disappears, then Goku is in front of him and bam

Looking at it gameplay-wise == fun,but code-wise == A nightmare

so very very cool
but so very very hard to code. still image i can imagin would be hard enough, but moving and following an estimated path bassed apon previous player movement, improbable.

then again people said the same thing about meleeing people acorss maps and smashing against mountions back in alpha days (the metor smash as many called it) but look now, that melee system has come and looks like from previews, will go away soon. nothing is impossible, just improbable.
