annoying glitch

whenever i do any big blast
the blast sphere always expands to fill the whole map
it slows down the game and i get killed alot
anyone know to fix it?

Again, you have to have your Half-Life in OpenGL to work.

nope ... that's not the same SS
some explosions are really big ... if they are too big, they only expand .. until they're out of the map
slows down the game ... that's caused by the servers power ... if it's weak the server will crash ... if not there won't happen anything

Oh is that why? And some times the game crashes due to not enough RAM. Happens to me alot.

Used to be the bare minimum was 64 MB now it's 256MB (I have 256) >_<

I can't keep up due to $$

because ESF needs much more performance than ordinary HL ... because it looks GREAT ...
and if the server power isn't enough it'll crash
I don't know if it's the memory ... but maybe ... I have 512 MB DDR-RAM ... my game never crashed by huge explosions

I need to add more RAM to my computer. I have 256MB of RAM right now.
The more RAM you have the more programs you can run at one time and makes the computer faster.

Sometimes of the servers crash or lag then because they have not enough RAM or their CPU's not fast enough... Mostly it's lags because your [or the server's] connection speed is no high enough...

it laggs if your ping is above 300, the server has probs to calculate (mostly during huge explosions) or your fps are less than 20
