well, i had never heard of these things til about the other day, he left his 2 pistols at my house for a few days, and i finally found a fun way to keep the neighbors dog from crappin in my yard,

i just bought a full metal, full size deagle replica, that clocks in at 250 fps, (not very high but good for a spring gun)

and a battery mini uzi, 150 fps, full auto,

i love these things, me and my friends get together and have wars with em, or shoot cars while drivin down the road, (most people never know where it came from and assume it was a rock,)

theres lots of fun/illegal things you can do,

anyone here just wub these things?

please no, SCREW SOFT AIR GUNS USE A REAL ONE,

Yeah...I'm going to order a silenced Glock, 270 fps from www.Airsplat.com

They have these Paintball BB's and since they are located near my states capitol, Which is near me, I'm guess I'll get in about 3 days when I order it. Spring Airsoft's Usaully Hurt more, and are Easier to clean :p :)

Heh, Nuttzy, it's people like you and DruDownthat make Airsoft illegal in most states, and destroy the chance of it becoming legal. If you really are going around shooting cars while you drive, I strongly urge you to stop... however if you don't you'll probably be arrested anyway, if not shot.

I purchased two guns, an electric mp5 clocks at 350-400, and a steyr aug, clocks at 300-350. They both costed around $300, but they're worth it. However There are no real Airsoft arenas like there are for paintball, so we have to play in our forest or up north. Far supperior to paintball, the guns are exact replicas, and weigh almost exactly as much as well. They are much cheaper, and the ammo is cheaper as well. Plus you don't have to worry about welts on your body the size of oranges.

You should spend way more than $20 if you want a decent gun that clocks over 300 fps, and won't break in a few weeks.

yeah, but are you going to keep buying a gun every week? My friend bought a springer ( all springers suck, try an electric, you'll never go back) for about $40 and after a week it was pretty much trashed, shot 3 or 4 bullets out at a time, at lower velocity.

If you just save up and spend the $300 on it, I can garuantee you that you'll be pleased.

You realize that the consequences don't only fall on you right? Airsoft is illegal in most states, becuase of peoplelike you. Since they are exact replicas an officer will most likely shoot you on sight if he see's you shooting at other cars or joggers. This was a problem with cheaply made K-mart pellet guns in the past. kids around the age of 8 were nearly shot while they were holding one of those. Plus they were no where near exact replicas. If an officer see's someone sporting an MP5A4 or an M4A1 carbine... well I don't need to explain. I'm probably not going to change your mind, but I might not have to.

i would spend 300$ on one gun if buying cheap ones did start to bother me after every week, but until they start breaking every week, i think theyll be fine

the 2 pistols my friend left at my house, were both springers, and they never slowed down, and we had a blast with those, firing shot after shot with no jamming, no multiple shots, no problems at all for the entire week, they help up pretty good also considering my TS freak retarded cousin got ahold of them, (just picture a redneck kid in short shorts trying to emulate the specialists)

true the expensive ones look great, and probabaly perform far better than the cheap ones, but for what im gonna use them for, (not what i said above) theyll work just fine,

dont think i do that all the time though, ive only done that twice, (shooting at passing cars), when i get caught yeah ill wish i was a little bit more careful,

but shooting dogs that are crapping in you yard is becoming more and more of a fun thing,

i could do worse ya know,

True, don't spend the money if you have no one to play with... it'll be a big waste. My group pretty much stopped for the winter, but hopefully, we'll be playing again in the summer.

aaah, the fun days i use to have here in the UK until it was illegal to possess a replica arms...
*thinks of the old days*
well, i had teh uzu as well, i also had a replica desert eagle, i also brought a derr hunting scope and mounted it to the top of the DE, some great sniping fun with it. my best was a Air shotgun i nabbed through the web, now that rocked, shot 4.5mm, destroyed milk bottles with one shot from a good distance, but the best times i had was on my friends farm, ooh some good times.

He owned a car. a cheap ass metro with no windows and 1 door, we would razz in across the fields and near the roads where we would so some proper drive by snipes on either living things or mostly objects (doors, ect) once i shot a bell on a door across from the feild with meh shotgun and it rang, the bloke came out, and ill censor what happened then :p.

he used to has huge silo's and stuff you could climb on the roof, we used to snipe tresspassers, he used to get alot of dodgy bikers messin the feilds, we used to chase them off with the drive by car, t'was so much fun, *snaps out of it*

buut, now the illegal replica laws in, meh parents refuse to keep them so i had to ebay teh suckkas >_>

hope you had the fun i did, shooting cow's forheads is fun.

Well.. the orange tape doesn't make them legal... It just doesn't allow the cops to take them away from you (unless you're too young to own one) if you're cuaght. It's basically an unwritten (wouldn't be suprised if it was an actual law now) law to never display one of those in public.

I have this big store thats a few blocks away from me that sells airsoft guns and stuff. I was gonna buy the electronic AK. Me and my friends had a lan party and most of the time we played "real" fps. I got shot buy the sniper rifle in the back by my friend from a few feet away. The **** hurts so bad, by the end of the day, it felt like i had a 3rd nipple on my back, thats how big the bruise was. But it was so fun when your playing in the middle of the night in a school.

I actually want really badly to get some Airsoft guns for myself. :D I'm thinkin' MP5 and M4A1, with maybe a gas-powered sniper rifle hidden in there somewhere. :) Who knows, dual MAC-10's would be pretty awesome too. Too bad I'm not sure who in my general area would play Airsoft. :(

Word of advice.. don't get any guns that use a mini-battery. It's not worth it. Fps is always low.. and the mini-battery is a pain.

On a side note.. Paintball guns look horrible compared to airsoft guns.. Yes, i wan't a gun that looks like a box with a tube sticking out the end.. with a giant balloon type paintball holder at the top.

You can get paintball guns that look like replicas of real guns.. but they're usually around 600-700 dollars.
