If there are people that believe this ****, perhaps we should start looking for intelligent life a bit closer to home...

If it isnt bull****, then thats pretty incredible, but I rather doubt it.

BTW, why would aliens care about weapons in space if were aiming them at ourselves?

I don't believe the video, probably because it went on too long, but if you look on Kazaa there's loads of UFO videos, one of them has a UFO flying between the twin towers and nearly hits the camera, looked real enough to me.

Aside: http://www.scifi.com/happens/bugletter.html - Real or fake? I didn't see much point in making it a seperate thread.

Like most, I beleive there's other intelligent life out there. The chances of us ever coming in contact with them are slim to none. The closest stellar system with liveable conditions is alpha centauri, and it's something like 13 lightyears away from us. We'd never be able to reach a system that far away anytime soon. Even if we did, I remember learning that it's orbit was a little unique due to the other stars near it, making it orbit in and out of the "life zone" consistently. So there's not a real big chance that there's life there either, we'd have to go look for another system which is even farther than that. I don't think that we'd ever come in contact with another type of intelligent life form in our existance.

What's funny is how the term "livable" is classified. Maybe if there was life, the conditions that are "livable" for them is..different?

I watched the whole thing through, it seemed real enough but I don't believe it because of the 'question time' at the end. When the guy who claimed he'd seen aliens at the crash site was asked what they looked like, he said he couldn't say what they looked like because there wasn't enough time :S Also he was talking about like six species of aliens and their characterstics which seemed ridiculously fake. And that spaceship drawing isn't proof that he'd seen one, one of the guys there was a conceptual artist.

That's a good point, it's very possible for there to be a completley different form of life living in conditions that wouldn't work for us. However the universe is known for repeating itself constantly so I choose to beleive that every organism would need the same basic conditions to live that we do.

The video was basically ex-military and ex-intelligence agents describing their encounters with extraterrestials. One thing that stuck out to me though, was the fact that the aliens were disarming nuclear missles, and monitering a lot of aircraft. Which makes it obvious that if they are aliens, that they are concerned with our technological abilities, nuclear capabilities included within these technological abilities. One guy said they had found a base on the moon, and an alien ship had examined there ship as they looped around. It's obvious it was basically a defensive measure, the aliens scanning the ship for nuclear weaponry. They also talked about how they have found an alternate propulsion system to fossil fuels, "anti-gravity propulsion" as the Steven Grier guy put it, and that not only seems possible, but would solve the energy crisis that will be coming in the next following decades. I try to be open minded about everything I guess, and I find no reason to disregard this tape as a total farse, for now. I think it's very interesting how the aliens are supposedly trying to warn us about nuclear war by disarming our missles, it's not like they are trying to harm us when they do it. We haven't had a catastrophy of intergalactic scope just yet. Would be interesting if they aliens decide to help us out technologically, before we destroy ourselves with nuclear war over energy shortage.

or the aliens are weak to nuclear strikes and are looking to take over the planet when the time is right ;)
