I have been playing Budokai 3 lately and came up with a few ideas.

1) All the transformations PL requirements for ALL characters should be the same. All characters should start with the exact same PL. The requirements of PL to transform should also be decreased. All the starting PL for all characters will always be the same. No more or less.

2) Whenever you launch a beam, etc, kamehameha. You will not be able to control the beam making it go round and round and round. It looks very unrealistic. Instead, all you need to do is hold left click, you will charge up kamehameha, after you meet the required power to launch it, you can either launch straight away or continue to charge for more power. When you fire, there is no way to make the beam go round and round, it will just go straight, of course all the beam speed will be increased. Even if you can't control it, the beam will still be attached to your hands. If you right click while it is attached to your hand it WILL NOT detonate like now esf 1.2. Instead, the beam will just detach from your hands and continue to go forward until it hits something, etc, rock, tree, mountain.

3) All the characters should have the exact same HP. No more or less for more powerful characters.

4) Whenever you power up, charge up ki energy, your character will give out a roar, etc, AARRRRRRRRRRR. Just like how it works on DBZ Budokai 3.

5) Able to crouch and walk slowly even with turbo on. Crouch + jump = super jump. Jump forward, sides, back at a longer distance.

What do you think about this ideas? :]

1- I think wouldn't be fair for characters that can't decend.
2- I don't like it cuz even in the show Cell trued to hit Goku with Khh and controlled it.
3- I don't really care about hp, but its a pretty good idea.
4- Wouldn't sound really good if I pressed 'powerup' and let go, pressed and let go, etc.
5- I think super jump was in the Alpha. Besides, the regular jump goes high enough. The other part is good though.

1. Would make the game boring
2. In the show they could control their beams too, this aint a sight way fighter like budokai, it would be annoying if you could only shoot straight forward, nobody (except you) would like it...
3. See "1"
4. No comment
5. Crouching wouldnt be used much anyway, and superjump...just fly + teleport

The reason people have different starting and transformation powerlevels is because different trans have different strengths (1.5, 2.0) and because in 1.3 some characters will have three trans, others will have one.

All things such as attack styles, HP, speed and so forth are to keep the characters different and balanced.

The only thing I like, is this "detatching the beam". It would decrease beamspam a little plus, I don't really remember them blowing up the beams whether they like it or not. It just flew away into space or blew the hell up on ground.

1) No. Thats why Transform PL's are different.
2) No. They could In DBZ.
3) No.
4) No Point. Can be done yourself by editing sounds.
5) Just beam jump.

i want to be able to detatch the beams but in the show they were able to control it (goku controlled the kamehameha during the fight against raditz, goten controlled it when fighting trunks in the world martial arts tournament etc...)

alot of charging goes on in this game every couple of seconds so it wouldnt sound right

if everyone had the same hp then it would be simple to kill everyone with a small spirit bomb or bigbang

if everyone had the same trans pl the characters that cant detrans would be seriously at a disadvantage

Also the character's with 2 times PL miltyplyers would be at a advantage.
And the Playability of Trunks and Gohan would evaporate.

They were able to control the beam but it isn't realistic in the game. Because the beam can go *BEHIND* your character even when your character is facing the front.

Right now when you fire a kamehameha, final flash, gallet gun, blue beam or any beam that is attached to your hand and can be controled. If you right click in the middle of it, your beam will detonate and explode. This isn't how it should be. When you right click, your beam should just detach from your hand and deal less damage instead of exploding just by right clicking.

Also, if your beam touches your opponent, it shouldn't explode in contact. That causes lag and unrealism. Instead, your beam should push your opponent back all the way until he hits a wall, ground, mountain, river, only then it will explode. If your opponent is defending while your beam touches him, he will have alittle more advantage in the power struggle. If your beam touches your opponent while he wasn't defending, he will be pushed back all the way unless he has the strength to counter back your beam. This will only work on *BEAMS*etc, khh,ff. Blasts will still detonate on contact with your opponents, etc, big bang, generic ball, deathball.

No - Some beams in DBZ do explode on contact - some did drag and crush damage
Just because it's not the way you like it don't mean it's wrong, Make suggestion's don't enforce idea's on people.
