Well for my new map I inserted a sound of the beach which is working properly, BUT how can I loop the sound, because it plays once in the beginning then it's just fnished, please someone tell me how!

And another, well say now it's a tournament and there are 2 fighters and alot of viewers, WITHOUT any protection(wall,etc.), is there a way to make it so that onyl the two fighters can attack EACH OTHER at a certain time and in a certain area? In other words, the can see and go near the audience, but it's impossible for them to hurt the viewers and vice versa, please tell me how, I want to use this featureif it exists and implement it into my map.

sound should automatically loop unless you checked the IS NOT LOOPED flag

Nope, doesn't work, I also thought so, but is there another way for it to loop except for that, and I double checked, I didn't check that...:(

And the other thing with tournament, please just tell me someone if it is possible?

Well thisone is a bit complicated but it should help ^^

You need 2 multi_managers.
(if your sound is X seconds long)
Set the first to trigger:
-the second in X seconds
-the sound with 0 seconds delay

Set the second to trigger:
-the first in X seconds
-the sound with 0 seconds delay


Than you just need a trigger that triggers one of those 2. (try trigger_auto)
And they should loop eachother.

uhh....okay, will take a while to get that in my head, but thanks very very much! I'm gonna compile my map now and post it in an hour or 2, depending on how long it takes to compile. Okay...I can't seem to find that, I put in 2 multi_managers or whatever, but the only entity properties are "name" and at flags there's some multithreaded thing, please help me, I would really like to loop this sound, otherwise you download 300kb for nothing, just to listen at once.

yea that would do it.
the thing about those sounds is "cue points" am i right? i dont really know how to use those but i made it work once with a sound by mixing it around in a sound-studio..

Uh...i'm sorry but I don't know what you're talking about, but can anyone help me please again, Grega already explained but I only find one option for the mulit_manager entity..

EDIT:
Don't worry, I figured out how to use it, but it's too confsing, soo i'm maybe just gonna leave it out r something...(the sound and loopingstuff)

yeah, i didnt use sounds in my early maps because i got problems with them, they'll come by time.

I understand what to do to make stuff happen AFTER ech other, but this is extremely confusing, it's like a gr.6 kid writing gr.12 exams, sheesh, well thanks for that grega, I'm compiling my map now, but I won't include looped sound...

That would be your choice. Honestly i dont know why the ambient_generic dosent loop. But i had the same problem. So i cane up with a backups solution (was to late for my own map though ^^)

I really want to do that, but it's so damned confusing, I do one thing, then I elaise that it's not right, then I try another and it's still not right and my map has another problem now, just when I was gonna freakin release it.....:(

Pic, but it wasn't always like this and I tried making them higher, making another evironment light or move the other one, but my player also becomes black when I go into those certain places.

kay, i'll try that, thanks, but do they have an option "bounce light" then I can select it or not or something? Well thanks very much, gonna try it out now, but do you maybe know why this hapened in the first place?

EDIT:
Okay, I selected that option in the RAD part of the compile called "bounce", then I have to fill something in, what should I fill in there, light_environment or something?
