when ever i create an internet game it says , Your esf executable is out of date it will now update etc, it says it everytime, yet my half life and esf is completely up to date! help (i installed 1.0 beta and then 1.1 beta patch, as 1.1 direct donwload always had an mp3 error)

Just do a complete uninstall (after uninstalling make sure to delete all folders of HL and ESF) and re-install make sure you're not confusing different updates, i don't know about Half-life, but the latest CS version is 1.5 . Then try playing half-life online, if it works, then try installing esf and try that. If HL does't work online, you might just have a whacky HL CD.
