Where may I download the linux server files that work with version 1.2.3 of ESF.

the windows version works fine in linux if u use wine or cedega emulator. but anyways:

it works the same as that Windows server filer, just put it:/dedicated server/esf

if it doesn't work, tell me ur Linux Distro, and it may help a bit

Is there any difference between the 1.2.3 version for Linux? to the Windows one???

yep, the linux version is native, Windows and linux has different coding

Windows and Linux are both different Operation Systems. There are different kind of Linux versions how ever. Most of them are free, and there are some you have to pay for. Linux how ever is way more stable then Windows (Hence the game servers for Linux), but most people still use Windows due a lot of software, games, etc are not compatible with Linux even though there are emulators to "Emulate" windows. But I'm not a Linux nerd, I know way more of windows then I know about Linux.

Emulators to emulate windows? Weird, I've never heard of them. Wine for example ISN'T an emulator: the name stands for 'Wine is not emulator' and uses windows dlls.

wine isn't emulator, it just emulates .exe files
