I have to know once and for all. Who out there is a fan of Stargate: SG-1 and Stargate: Atlantis? Any reason why you like the show(s) and who is/are your favorite character(s)?

I love Stargate and would watch it all day if I could. I would say Tilc is my favorite character because of his little querks he has about him, but Jack O'Neil played by MacGuiver can't be easily beat.

SG1 = yes

Atlantis = no


Even then SG1 was only good for the first handfull of seasons before they decided to make it a super serious show.

I love how Richard Dean Andersen's name appears before the title of the show. He's just that important.

I like both series a lot, and pretty much like every character. Except for Atlantis' Teyla. But if I have to choose in some order, I would say:

O'Neill (RDA owns!)
Jackson
Sheppard
McKay
Beckett

I own the entire series, so yeah, I like it a lot As for favorite character and whatnot, that's really hard to say considering the number of changes the show's gone through. Daniel Jackson was probably always one of my favorites, but again, nobody could deny that O'Neill was awesome. Reminds me that I need to download season 4 stuff of SGA still. But yeah, for Minor characters that shoulda gotten more play, I rather liked Martuf/Lantesh (SP?), I woulda liked to have seen more of Jonas in seasons 7-10, etc. For bad guys though, Baal = awesome. Just the right mix of crafty, evil, two faced, and hillarious.

SG1 is one of my favorite if not my favorite show.

Atlantis, not so much. I can tolerate it, but it's missing the magic of the first one.

Something very awesome I found out when I first started watching the show. This is the only television series currently endorsed and supported by the United States armed forces (particularly the Air Force).

I love SG, but I do like Atlantis as well. I'm glad at least the series of SG will go on at least within Atlantis.

I love all things Stargate (except the ****ty MMO coming out). I think McKay and Daniel Jackson would be my favourite characters, although I do have soft spots for RDA, Teal'c and Ronan as well.

Love SG1 fave chars would probably be O'Neill folowed by Jackson.

Dont like Atlantis all that much but McKay rules ^^

Anyhow, kick ass show. I watch Atlantis every week. Sometimes it's cheesy, sure, but I like the whole "Ancient" thing. o:

I have over 130 gigs on my computer that consists of all SG-1 and Atlantis episodes. All DVD or HDTV quality.
