Hello all,

I've been playing ESF for around 6 months now and have loved it. I've also been hovering around this section for a long while, yet havn't signed up myself.

Being a game and 3D modeler myself, this seems like the forum for me. :)

Anyway, to keep up topic, I'll drop a screenshot of something I've been working on.
It's been about 4 hours work and there's a lot to do. Your C&C is valued.

Known Errors:
- Body parts aren't connected
- Needs to be mirroed so there's two sides.
- A bit boxy overall
- Boots need to be re-done
- No little black ball thing on the end of Buu's head tail.(or whatever!)
- Needs one more gold ring on the end of his arm-band.
- Still needs to be textured.(should take care of gold ring problem above ^ )

um....its flat....really flat....but it has a nice shape, good job on that.

Like raiko said body is way to flat looking (boxy) and that set the whole thing looking off , but good start just build onto that

Thanks for the comments.

There's lots of polies scattered on the body that'll easily bend it into shape. (Hence the high polycount)

I should also note that this is my first DBZ model ever!

Hello, just wanted to keep you updated on my progress.


Note: No parts are connected. So the head and neck are floating a little and it may look like some bad geometry.
[Edit] The back view picture the left let got cut off a bit. Sorry about that.




Still have lots of work to do, yet after looking at the above screenshot, I think I've come a long long way.

OMG the creature from the FLAT LAGOON!!! Well looks better but his legs bending inward make it look like he has to pee. Also the fingers arent attached to the Wristband things they kinda come out from the inside.

if you read what he said , he said that none off the parts are connected yet

anywho your getting there like i said before just keep building onto it

Thanks for all the comments.

I'm still working on the body and it's about 60% done. Just need to get rid of creases,work on the face ,and round him out a little.

Just for kicks, I made a walk animation to make sure he'll deform and export properly. So far deformation is ok, yet once the mesh is finished and creases bent out it should work perfectly.

Physique isn't too bad, but it is definately flat. It makes me wonder if you're a mapper...

lookin good m8:yes:. Give his head some attention. His arms are lookin sweet, legs need a bit of work but this is really nice. Your doin great. Good job so far.

looking good dudde! but the legs still need a lil more poking aout, and the head is still flat

New Majinn Buu!

The model was becoming so much trouble to scale and add depth I made a new one. ;)

The the catch is that this one has 1/2 the polycount as the old version!!!

To do list:

Finish animations
Make UV map
Fill UV map
Make small demo to view animations. (Possibly ;))

it looks ugly .... sry but its so....
wich ref pics u use? hu?
well it needs fix in the legs! they r too bright less!!! make them brighter! then the body have to be fic´xed compledly!!! ´it looks as a wood befor the body of buu!
hands have to be allittle bit smaller .... ^^ first model? so far good first work ! ^^
