Hi, being from south africa my steam sits in offline mode most of the time, but when I try to launch the 1.3 Open Beta it tries to create the map, then bombs back to the start screen.
It works fine in online mode.
As much as you would like it to work with a sprite, atm its a very basic 3d (ie not a 2d sprite) model. For the ki aura to function like you show in the picture it would have to more like a "bubble" that moves around the character. Don't know if this is possible on HL1 engine.
