Ok here is what I did since my computer sux. Go to configuration, then video , then video mode and turn on Direct3d mode then you should see the little particles.

Go into filter at the web games screen change "Playing Game" to esf. Then press update if you mean how to get to the mode on the first screen press custom game them press activate on esf
