I was wondering if anyone uses Sony Vegas 6? I recently recorded some videos in a game using fraps, but I am having problems rendering them as AVI, Vegas renders them fine and everything, but for a 30 second clip it make the file 134mb, the quality isn't uber or anything, just a large file sum...

Does 1.2.3 require HL1 to be installed? cause I lost my HL copy while moving, then I reformated, and don't have it anymore, just got everything back up, but anyway, Can I run 1.2.3 with just Steam? if someone could help me out that would be "peachy"? o_o lol
