why dont u take a look at other topics, other peeps have had that same problem as well!

no bots have nothing to do with this, and yeah!, it usually crashes atleas after a couple of hours of playing, exept today ::C

I have the same problem with dedicated server, it usually crashes when something big happens!, like if bigbang explotes very close ;(

im really sticking into opengl!, best fps and look, :((((, I remember I got this fixed before.., just dont remember how, any other ideas?

rendering?, I allways play with opengl!, I never change

Allright, so I got this problem, I cant go to windows while in game, or else my comp crashes, screen just goes black , its really annoying cuz as u can imagine if a firewall alert pops out or msn.., or some error or whatever... I think I dont have this problem with other games, only steam...

well, I feel like its "pointless" to help u now :] what windows u got on your com? if u got xp on sutch slow comp its better u use 2000 or 98 !, and ofcourse formating and updating your drivers, win update..., I hope this helps :smile:

u sayd u have put all your graph card settings to performance?, do u use any programs to help get your fps up?, I suggest refreshlock, u can download it from: http://www.pagehosting.co.uk/rl/ whats your fps when u look at the ground?, do u know about fps_max ? PS: maybe won is better for old...

I think Ive had that same error message a couple of times, dont remember what helped :( if its only esf, then try changing your esf settings, res, cl_himodels 0...

I have the same problem with some servers!, game just crashes :E come to think of it, my friend got the same problem!, hl.exe is kinda "not responding" Im really amaized if u come to think a solution to this one :)

I think that comp is messed up, do ya have a firewall?, check that its not blocking your steam!, PS:cable sux :no:

drivers drivers... yeah I agree it midge be the problem!, but have u trying configuring your settings and your card configs?!, and u can use other progs to help get your fps up!

Thx :D I think I tryed everything u suggested!, nothing is workin for me!!, reinstall too!, drivers are new... the weird thing about this is, I tryed it on my other comp, I havent played on it at all, just hostin servers..., I couldnt see the model eather!!!, I have different graph cards on...

well I think u can do that in any editing prog! try adobe or vegas , dunno nothing about making screensavers :S

hi!, that turning off high guality models did not work :( , I turned if off, booted steam and I still cant see my model there :E, fanny I still can see it when it teleports O_o , btw so u got it working by turning cl_himodels 0? thx for help anyways, I hope u got more tricks :D

MMM!!, when I play demo, viewdemo, playdemo, timedemo, startdemos, it dosent matter, I CANT SEE MY MODEL!!! ( http://www.kirahvikuppila.0-pingi.net/oviloikkari/prob.JPG ), aura and powerup I see but model is missin :scared: , I hope this is one of those commands that I dunno!! REPLY!!!
