It's not stupid at all. It's been done this way so that the servers don't lag because there are many ppl connecting from miles away. Since there are different US and European servers you don't have to worry that you won't be able to play it.

Lol i never saved in Hitman, dunno why but i always found myself doing half the mission and forgetting to save. As for style of saving i like the autosave, before and after an important scene. (like in Escape from Butcher Bay)

As it was said before it really depends on how they sound, for example: Naruto 1 was a lot better in jap than dubbed, but Bleach on the other hand sounds a lot better in english. For me at least.
