I think your a bit confused with the old system. There is no really an advanced melee. There are only 3 types of melee. 1. Single hit 2. Combo hits 3. Throw And trust me thats all you want and need. If I remember right the bots settings will be arround 60% melee or something like that and 40%...

Besides the beta testers I do think that the modellers of ESF Inteam have skills enough to check that by them selfs. Why do they need a model tester??

Well a official answer now is that they are still in development. So no need to worry even if you havent seen new stuff yet I can assure you they are still busy with it. Also remember that it is summer hollidays so yeah the progress might be a bit slow and posting new stuff will takes its time too.
