half life game of the year edition and half life counter-strike bith work for esf i think i think blue shift doesnt support mods cause when i bought it it didnt support mods but i bought it when it just came out might have changed.

i dont think it would ask u for ur half-life directory if u have the counter-strike patch. are u sure u have the counter-strike patch? tell me the file size of the patch.

if u installed the update to c:\programefils\counter-strike\ then the files from the update are in that directory

create a shortcut (go to desktop and use the right mouse button and click go to new and click shortcut) put this in(C:\Sierra\Half-Life\hl.exe -console - game esf) or if u already have a shortcut put "-console" at the end of it and when in the game press ` to get the console

try reinstalling both and make sure it is installed in c:/sierra/counter-strike/esf (this is the default directory) and not c:/sierra/counter-strike/cstrike/

lock models doesnt let u change ur model by typing model ssjgoku or any other model in console
