Beer's law and some powder effect. At least i tried to make it look like it. I don't know how exactly they are mixing them. Best thing is, the trick they used(and wich i'm using too) to get clouds at full screen resolution will also be implemented for the old low/mid quality clouds.

Atm we use a mixture of cel-shading with some rim lighting along with normalmaps and PBR based ambient and diffuse coefficients

Uhm you could..but you need to write your own shaders.

Those are the absolute high-end clouds, there will be faster , lower quality ones aswell(the old ones) so i know i got some cloud tech wich runs very fast on a gtx660 And nope those clouds are not interactive. On such a scale it would kill every gamer computer. Also it's not needed

I allways use vsync, because i need to be able to track errors when moving the cam, so tearing is not an option^^ Optimized it in the meantime , around 25% faster and more precision. Still need a better temporal reprojection code. As for performance, it's around 4 times slower than the old...

Yep, if a game is fully installed on the Console, the access to the drive is mostly just for the illigal copy protection.

Uhm it does support dx12 , 290x and 390x(wich is 290 just with another name) doesn't :D also i don't do 4k gaming(you would need a titan anyways for that) Multiple Monitors itself doesn't add to vram, it's the increased resolution a game uses wich does. And btw shaders are by nature async :P But...

Nope, none at all. Havn't had a game yet wich used more than 3gb of Vram and imo , a game wich uses 3.5gb+ Vram is just badly coded(bad distance streaming, ridiculous texture resolution and so on)

Upgrade to a gtx970 a while ago. So no more new features, only improvements :P

Details and maps still have to be done, so we wouldn't gain anything from it. More over we would have to buy Unity, recode the entire game, redo all maps, all models and besides Unity sucks :D
