    ok...so i have 2 leave 1 gap unit and apply the null textures...... Now i'm making another map xD that can't be properly compiled..after 20 sec it pops an error The map has no errors here's the .log hlcsg v2.5.3 rel Custom Build 1.7p15 (Jun 3 2004) Zoner's Half-Life Compilation Tools...

    i made the 1 unit gap but i didn't know about the http://img363.imageshack.us/img363/3280/as1uo.jpg trick...hmm but if u ask me that thing only adds 2 extra faces to a brush..so then y do it ?..i'm not saying it's not correct..i'm just curious y ^^ ok ok i will w8 the 4-5-6-7-8-9 hurs 2 compile...

    thanks 4 the idea :D I'm usure it'll work ^^ as for the I would but it lasts about 4 hours to compile and in the end sometimes it pops an error and even if it dosn't my ram is full so sometimes my pc just restarts itself or i have to manualy restart after the compilation is over...i'll give it...

    I thought u were talking about how many times did i used the clipping tool ^^ sorry trees ^^ I'm not really sure lol :P all i know it they are transparent and create a cool bug that makes a trail..hard 2 explain ;/

    :) it's so nice when ppl help thanks :) I replaced all the textures with a small one and w8ed about 1.5-2 hours to compile it (i still sit ctrl+break :P ) and it still laggs :( then i tried with a null texture => no lag :D @yopyop: i have about 4-5 clips in the map :] @Fire Phoenix: neah...

    I made a map :yes: :] :laff: yes yes Map information : Solids : 368 Faces : 2600 Piont Entities : 63 Unique textures : 37 Texture memory 8.46 Mb No errors found ! The map is preety big about the same size as esf_arrival. I mainly use 208x208 and 256x256 textures..but i have 4 of them...

    compile problem..I NEED HELP FAST

    thanks it works good now (no more lag) but i still gotta do something about that max viewable distance (tryed everythig (0, 6000, 20000, 60000 > both in hammer and ZHLT)..what should i do now ? oO

    Thank you very much DragonDude. I managed to finish it at about 12:00 PM (my time--about 1:00 AM your time) :P I compiled it..it had no with no lag anymore :laff: but the max viewable distance still was(and IS) bad... but it was 2 late anyway :] Great map DD, i wouldn't stand a chance...
