Synth, you have good taste in Hip-Hop so I think you'll like these guys if you haven't heard of them.
They're a group of teenage skateboarders from California, who hate hipsters who wear tight pants, Kid Cudi, and "40 year olds rapping about gucci".
The main attractions from here, are "Earl Sweatshirt", and "Tyler the Creator". They both have LPs out, their lyricism is very dark, and disturbing, for their age they make dope tracks. They produce their own beats.
Here's some songs from Tyler' the Creator's LP called "Bastard". Earl is on this first track, he's the younger guy, the deep voice guy is Tyler, he's 18.
I've listened to a few of his beats, while listening to Dibiase I saw his beats in the associated videos on YouTube. I've heard snippets here and there. I really like Untitled out of that bunch, at work right now so I'll check him out more in depth later.
Samiyam now has 70 beats out, what will this new album consist of, is what I'm wondering, If it's remastered versions of these YouTube **** quality beats, I might just buy the album.
I didn't know you listened to Count Bass, I've heard Act Your Waist Size, Art For Sale, Dwight Spitz, Begborrowsteel, all of that, everything, dude got skills!
Whole Wide World is one of my favorites to, it has a very sluggish ride to it, and the sampling is well executed, I make speakers bleed with these beats.
These kinds of beats are cool because you have to study them a bit before you can completely understand them. I also believe he called it Crosseyed because you fill in the blanks between the samples like the blanks in a crossword puzzle with the silent melody.
