umm...........how do i get da console down.....its not da same as cs

Yo... how do i get da conosle down coz i can't make waypoints and ****........

1. add -console to your hl exe file so it reads

"hl -console.exe"

2. in the main menu open the console (by clicking on the link at the top) and type

"bind ` +console"

3. in game press ` and it should open up the console


Someone tell me if im wrong, im not sure if thats the right way to bind keys (i normally bind words)

I don't think you need'a bind it, it always binds it automatically for me to the tilde button (~).

If not then try binding it

open the config.cfg, find the line console "0.000", edit it to "1.0"
if the line doesn´t exist, create it.
if the problem appairs again, do as above but now change the write-attribute of the config.cfg so hl can´t change the file any longer.
