What is ESF???

hey peoples, I was just searching tha net when i seen this site, The pics looks cool but I wanna know what this is?
is it a modpack for halflife or something to make it look like DBZ???
or is it a full game?

Its much more than just different models for halflife.

Earths Special Forces is a total conversion for halflife.
May new effects have been added. The gameplay is completely different. Its a different game all together. But it still uses Halflife to play it. So its classified as a Modification, rather than a stand alone game.

So its a full DragonballZ game of its own. You can fly, shoot beams, attack with punches and kicks, teleport. In the next version you will be able to transform, capture the dragonballs (and summon dragon to grant wish), melee fighting (hand to hand combat) will be greatly improved, and much more. ESF stands for Earth Special Forces and is a modification of Valve's popular Half Life software. ESF is based off of Akira Toriyami's popular anime series, Dragonball Z, which is owned by FUNImation and TOEI.

so do I have to have Half Life to be able to play ESF?

You need Half-Life or the retale Counter-Strike to play esf.

AND make sure you update Half-Life to the latest version frequently! Or else you may not be able to play ESF.
