Cant run ESF

When I try to connecto to a server it says
cant run client.dll or something like that. I checked cl_dll folder
and it says client.dll I check dlls folder and it says hl.dll usually
some mods use mp.dll on the dlls folder, I tried renaming hl.dll
to mp.dll but it still dont work I know it said client.dll but its not
letting me play anywayz!

You have to get fmod.dll to fix it.And get the latest half life patch.And not to be a mod but this goes into the help section
