Melee: Is it overpowered and imbalanced?

1) Yes

2) No

Melee is as balanced as it's going to get. Most people see it as unbalanced because it has a bit of a learning curve to it. Lag also effect melee greatly. If you have 200 ping and wonder why someone with 60 is beating the **** out of you thats why. However, it's not impossible to win melee with lag, it's just a bit harder. If you constantly use ki attacks against melee you will also lose. You *have* to mix it up.

they wanna use beams non stop like the alpha so when they get smacked across the map....they get pissed and think its cheap....

Yes, I see a lot of people in servers just trying to charge up their attacks at the worse possible times, and they keep on doing it. They will be in the middle of the map while im in front of them, and start charging a kamehameha. I whack them across the map. He charges again, I whack him across the map. "Man do you use anything else but melee?" this idiot says.
