Crash!

I know that ESF crashes much, but this is really stupid.
When the game crashes, the game closes and return to Windows, but when I try to start it again, I get a error.(A regular one from Windows.)
The only way to start it back up, is to restart the computer.
Can you help me?

that´s a normal hl-problem
but i think it doesn´t appear under xp

Then I have to wait for the next version of ESF.

Is there really no other way to fix this problem, instead of installing Windows XP/2000 or waiting for the new version of ESF?

make sure hl doesn´t crash to much
i had the problem under 98 too, because it uses an other system structure and after a hl-crash data stays in the ram and that makes it impossible to restart hl

get more memory to prevent it from crashing..ram

I am not planning to change the OS or get more memory.
It crashes when somebody use Spirit Bomb.
It crashes when I teleport.
Is there no way to fix it?
