Gohan

Under Majin_you's advice I'm creating this to offer constructive comments on what people would like to see happen with gohan. No arguments about gohan being adult or a kid. Just share your views on how he should acend, what moves you would like to see him have, and if he should be balanced towards melee or beams. Please stay on topic.

With that being said I would like to see the grown up gohan and the kid gohan as two different classes as they both had their fair share of time in the series. I feel that the kid version should be more beem based while the grown up one should be more melee based to fit the dbz story. Beyond that if the grown up one acends I think the animation should be based on his powerup after training with the elder ki. The grown up gohan should also have a higher requirement to acend, such as krillin and buu, sence his power multiplied many times over after training with elder ki. Just my two cents and I hope to hear everyone elses.

Remeber, ESF doesn't and probably wont follow the DBZ story line. It's a fighting game, not a adventure game.

I am actually biased towards Mystic Gohan, and his later life. Don't know why, maybe b/c I really liked him in Movie 13 - he just looks cool. Also in the Buu saga where he tears Buu a new one after getting training - totally kick ass

Kid gohan (namek):
Gohan with his handmade clothes and bowl cut --> Ascend to Gohan with guru power up.
Gohan with his saiyan armor clothes --> ascend to Gohan angry at Freezer for hurting piccolo.

Teen Gohan (on earth after the room of spirit and time) --> Ascend to SSJ Gohan

Teen Gohan (training his ssj powers with goku before cell games) --> Ascend to SSJ2 Gohan (Cell games)

please no adult adult sucks.

Young adult Gohan the one that fights buu.

If they want to add him as a new class that's ok, but if they want to add him as a transformation level of Kid Gohan then I don't have a problem with that either.

If they go with the 'transformation level' option then for the sake of simplicity only Mystic Gohan needs to be represented. We know that Gohan was weaker fighting against Dabura than he was against Ultra-Perfect Cell, so there's little point in having a transformation from SSJ2 Kid Gohan to SSJ2 teen Gohan.

If they model teen Gohan as a totally different character, then I guess they can balance out all of his phases: Geek>SSJ>SSJ2>Mystic

Gohan will be a seperate class I beleive.

Hey i'm a newbie on the boards, but i have a few things to say.

I like the idea of having two separate Gohan's, Young and Adult.

I agree with NeoSaiyajin with his Stats for Adult gohan, but the Enraged move should be on young Gohan because he is the one who get angry of example against Radditz, Freiza and Cell there is a few more but i don't have much time.

I think Young Gohan should go Normal, SSJ then SSJ2 and Adult Gohan should just go from Normal into Mystic but start on a higher pl.

Well that is about all the stuff i can think of right now, oh yeah there is one more thing Adult Gohan does not suck.

and Im sure I didn't see any other moves then....but if he is going mystic then maybe giving him the sword might be a good idea....wait it broke....my mind's going blank too....

i would like to see gohan have two different models the young gohan, with transforms like Gohan - SSJ Gohan - Permanent SSJ Gohan (or something like that) - SSJ2 Gohan and with the attacks he has now, maybe some new ones the team could make up or something. And a second Teen Gohan model with transformations as Gohan - SSJ Gohan - SSJ2 Gohan - Mystic Gohan and about the same attacks so you really get the same gohans only the models vary so you can choose which one you like not which one is better (i know they will be balanced but still). this would be the most true to the show and i would definitely like it!!

i think they should have gohan as a kid (from freiza saga) who transforms into a SSJ like he does now, then as a further tranformation he should become an adult (this is for when they add more transformations) and then he could go mystic. If you had two different classes for gohan as a kid and then as an adult their attacks would be almost the same.
I would like to see a rage attack or something (use your imagination )
They could possibly make a very young gohan (from when vegeta comes to earth) and make him able to turn into that big ape. That would be cool to see!

You have the right to your opinion sonodin but I don't feel its valid. Gohan grew up in the series and in the 3 major periods of his life that were covered he had some big battles. This is why he is being added. I think its smart idea. I really don't know why anyone has anything against adding new characters. You don't have to be that character and it will ad a nice new spice to the mix.

well if adult gohan is going to be added in then make him start out in the kai uniform then when he transes make him glow so you cant see him, then when its done he has gokus clothes on...u know like when kibito changes his clothes.

in my opinion a clothes change in a transformation would look very wrong, like when krillan transforms, but thats just my opinion

I think that would be a great way to do the transformation Checkplease. It would also allow it to be smooth and not just jump from one model to the next. Change the model half way through but keep the shine and then dim it to end the trans.
