Half-Life 2 Sig And Avatar

I just whipped these up in photoshop, I like them myself and have decided to use them. But I was wondering what you think of them, are they good or bad? What am i doing wrong? Does it look fine the way it is? Ya know, the usual.

well the gordon pic looks a lil odd, i know its tough to find them but he doesnt look right otherwise its good.

Ya the pic has a wierd white glow to it, you cant really get rid of it. If it was possible, or if I knew how, I would.

Anyways pretty good sig, kidn of easy, but somtimes easy is good. Nice effect, gets the job done.
