New Technique?

Well im not sure if anyone has used this technique in photoshop. I learned this in my Cpu Graphics Class. This i find a very interesting technique. It turnes 2d pictures to 3d pictures. All i did was make my name and the background 3d like and Gabe somewhat 3d. I decided that it looked ugly when i made him 3d. So im not gonna say this is the best but all it shows is the effects really instead of making it all pretty. So here it is.




O btw there was no layer blending at all. I used 1 filter and 1 filter only.

Not bad I guess, you should of used layer blending along with your filter.

That looks 3D ? More like a mess...

lol yeah, I don't really like how it turned out..
