is this game for free or do need to pay for something?!?!
if no its asking for a cdkey...

the mod itself is free, but you need to buy a halflife copy (if u dont allready have one)

got half life included

Just download the mod then,install it, enter the cd key, and play

dude there is a stickie for installing the game and playing good...
if you want to know esf is a non-profit project!(right?)

and i only got xxxx-xxxxx-xxxx for half life

did u just write ur CD KEY!!!??? or was it random numbers?

If you have the generations pack, you should have two set of cd keys. One for counter-strike and one for Halflife. You can still play by installing Counter-Strike and downloading its latest patch. If you find the halflife cd-key then you first need to download the 1.1.1.0 patch and then download and install ESF.

And Effect, if thats your cd-key, i suggest you edit your post and get rid of it before someone starts to use it and you cant connect onto won ...
