help plz

umm im really new but i dont know if this is a game or something you can just download to play i really dont know how to get it so can some one plz tell me?

This is a mod for HL. If you want to play it online I suggest you BUY HL. You'll need Steam.

Also, I believe www.esf-world.com can fix you up with the files.

do you get this if you have counter strike or condition zero?

well on the front news it said that they relized people were trying to but I suggest buying HL cuz that way you can get any mod for steam.
1. Make sure you have Half-Life (its cheap these days so its an easy buy but some places don't have it go to a place like EB games to be sure)

2.Make sure you have downloaded and installed steam available at www.steampowered.com

3. Go to the Downloads/Files part of ESForces.com find a suitable mirror for download

4.Download the most recent version of ESF (1.2.3)

5.Open the file and when you install it be sure to install it to Program Files/ Steam/ Steamapps/<your e-mail adress here>/Half-Life
When it installs it your esf directory should be right here Program Files/Steam/Steamapps/<your e-mail adress here>/Half-Life/esf

It does not work for condition zero.

some people say it works with counter strike 1.6 is this right?

Half-life these days is cheap I'd say 8-20 dollars or you could get it from e-bay... real cheap but I got everything cept hl2 stuff and cz for like 60 dollars retail in a pack

it works whit CS 1.6
since you can download HL for free if you have CS 1.6 registered

since i have counter strike 1.6 were can i download HL?

IF you are using WON... it shut down a few years ago . go to www.steampowered.com Even though steam sucks its really the only was to play the games.

ALSO: You must of played Half-Life in order to play any 3rd partie games.

iv been to one of thows computer places were they have games and you pay money to play i found it there

i have steam how dose that help me download HL?

1.)install STEAM
2.)make an account and log in
3.)go to browse games
4.)click on the register a game i already own button and enter your CD-key
5.)go to the play games menu
6.)rightclick on Half-Life and choose download and install (or something like that)
7.)after HL is downloaded and totaly updated (wach the STEAM monitor to see how much its updated) play it
8.)install ESF, whit the patches or just ger the ESF b1.2.3 full instaler
9.)run ESF
10.)have fun

that should do the trick

He doesn't need to download half-life. ESF works with counterstrike, just not counterstrike: cz.

Realy? Lol didnt know that all i know is that if you have CS 1.6 you have accsess to HL aswell. It goes the other way round to.

Well In that case just install ESF to you CS directory (ofcoure after geting STEAM and registering the game).

iv baught counter strike CZ and it came with counter strike as well

then you need to buy halflife.

Counter strike condition zero does not include halflife, which is needed to play ESF - yes it includes cs but it still won't work with ESF.

The retail version of CS would work however - but that does not include condition zero.
