well ready thats not actualy a nice thing to say but totaly right
same as you i dont give a crap for 1.3 or nnk and thats because i'm not a developer in them, but i want to play them, and i'm shure everyone feels the same

actualy env_models work nasty with or without the boundingbox, only way to make them look good is to map over them witch is a real pain, so i used my tricz to turn the map into a 3ds file and make a perfect fiting model to the dome :3

and thanks, i'm realy pleased that a mapper of youre calibre likes this map ^^
