Random BADASS 4th of July Phone call

So yesterday I'm about to take off to pick up a friend for a smashing 4th of July BBQ party, and just I'm about to walk out the door the phone rings.. my grams recognizes the number as my friend Nicholi out in California.

So I answer that B* "What's up Nick!"

But that's not who was on the phone. "Hey Alex this is Kyle Hebert."

After a 10 second dysfunctional meltdown I realized who he was, pulled it together and had a little chit-chat with the voice actor. Turns out I've always said his last name wrong. It's not Herbert(like Sherbert) It's (He-bear)

Turns out my buddy Nicholi was working at the anime expo in california and got to drive and escort this guy around all day, somehow managed to get this guy to call me :shocked:

This is the second time he has done this particular thing. Last year it was Steve Blum, I love voice acting, would totally get a job doing it if I could, but I just hate how my brain farts when I actually talk to these people, and it totally slips my mind in the moment.

I pretty much let him know how much I appreciated his work and talent, and had to make a few comments on his DBZ career. Ehehe he hinted that he wasn't yet done with that particular series yet; oh I can only wonder what that means.

It totally made my 4th, and set off all the fireworks in my head!

But yeah, it's basically guaranteed that DBZ Kai in the Buu saga will be dubbed. That, and there's also Battle of Gods, not to mention the millions of DBZ games that have yet to come out.

Yeah it totally made my day. Usually I'm out in cali with my buddies at AX, but I couldn't make it this or last year. Still the expo found it's way to me ^,,^

What I should have done is have a voice acting competition over the phone and maybe land a job as his protege!
