Modeling Competition:KOWABUNGA

Since the forums have been very inactive lately i figured this would help a bit.
Ok, so this is how it will work:

- each competition will last 3 weeks: two for the modelers to get their work done and one for voting;
- there won't be any prize (until i figure something out);
- modelers can ask for reference for their models in this thread;
- any refs' posted in this thread will be edited in the first post;

Now for the first one.
The first theme will be:

Rules:
-2500 polygons maximum;
-the models must be fully skinned;
-other Ninja Turtles concept accepted, but must be accompanied with images of the concept;
-the modelers can post updates on their models;
-the final entry(with the model 100% done) must include a wireframe picture and a rendered image;

All models have to be done by 1 November 2007
The voting will take place between 1 and 7 November​

I actually think its a bad idea. It won't bring people back. As the Forums are dead for like 1-2 years allready.
To bad that Many people are not visiting this modeling section anymore.

Though the Main reason is the lack of interest on fictional Concepts and Models. Only DBZ and Naruto Models get attention and get commented. Also the lack of good crit's is one of the main points why people stopped watching over this place. it got one and the same thing here.


I won't enter myself , got to much to do as I'm no Ninja turtle fan actually.
