ESF wont let me create/join games

Ok so about a week ago I formatted my computer to clean out all the clogg and now I just downloaded esf 1.1 and installed it. Thing is the game won't start when I try to join or a game or when I create one. It gets up to auth won id then stops and loads for a long long time then gives me a windows xp "Send error to microsoft" error.

Does anyone know what I can do to fix this? I really want to play esf again! :]

Do you have the latest version of HL?
Do you have the latest driver for your graphics card?

TRy reinstalling I have errors sonetimes OR try downloading another installer

Do you have the 1.1.0.1 patch for half life, that normally causes the " windows has encounted an error and this program will shut down", it did it 2 me until i downloaded the patch

No... Actually it say's: You cannot play this game because you don't have the right client. Or what ever

I figured it out!


my commandmenu sscript in the valve folder was messing esf up for some reason.
