Wouldn't it be best to see who wants to join the tourney, and then make a chart, like this

Lets say we start with 50 competetors, we'd have 25 1vs1 matches to start. The winner would then move up to fight the person that won in the fight beside, until the best 2 face each other in the final.
Would mean people wouldn't have laggy fights due to over crowded servers, and more people could host servers.

It'd just take quite alot of organising. (if people dont turn up for fights etc... they get disqualified)

Clan battles dont really have anything to do in a Tournament...
Or not a tournament of such a size....
So i would agree on the normal 1vs1...
There could be 2vs2 or 3vs3... But not a clan fight...

Titels.
Instead of just having a winer titel...
why not have some other titels... Like:

• Best Finish -> what it sais

• Fastest Finish -> what it sais

• Fair Play -> what it sais... Like letting a opponent powerup.

• Best Loss -> No wining, how he/she lands...

• Closest Call -> When the loser gets the winer down on low health

Well, firstly we need people to organise it, and people (preferably people organising the tourney, not any random person whos unreliable) to referee matches as not to let any form of lieing or cheating get in the way.

I'm not sure if your organising it Tim, but if you need help, i'l be happy to help you out, since we are clan buddys =P

How about 32 or 64 players to start, doing 1v1s. All you'd need is players to register their fights on earth league and/or post the results here, and if there was an argument about it you could have them do it again with a moderator. Set standard time limits/frag limits though so that we're all in the same boat from the start.

64/2=32 32/2=16 16/2=8 8/2=4 4/2=2 2/1=1

What would the frag limit be? 5? 10? 20? or would it just be the first one that dies?

what map? cell games would be a good map. If there are other tourny maps out there would there be ring outs?

40 wouldn't work if your going for the best 2 >.>

32 or 64 would be by far the best. Once we can get this organised, we can decide all of the rules etc...
I could always set up a seperate section on my clan forums designated for this tourney so we can sort information out there.
