smd

Yeah, I got both programs and I want to do this for animating. I was wondering, how can I import the mesh / skeleton and animate it? Also, what do you prefer to animate with, Maya or 3ds max?

i currently use 3dsmax v8. i also have v6 and 7, but i would rather not use those (as i would have to re-rig the models) i have found some HL2 smd exporters, but i need one for HL1. they use the same format so they MAY BE interchangeable. (but i doubt it) if anyone knows where to find one...

It is very simple question, but i don't know how to convert .smd file to .mdl! Please help me!

Anyone know where I can get the Half Life SMD importer for 3d Studio Max 4. I have the one for 4.2 but I can't get it to work. Is there a dls or dle file I can use?

well, i got this error, when i want to compile my model. all the textures files and reference.smd and sequence.smd are in one map, so i compile the .QC file, and it´s compiling and then my milkshape just quits like that, it just shuts off, can anyone help me please?

The question is... Can i model for ESF with 3dsmax 4.2 ? Thx in advance

OK now thet i can import with 3d max studio i dont know how to export SMD !!! and then how can i do my SM t be MDL??
